Wokovuway is a humanitarian nonprofit organization based in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo. We operate programs in education, clean water, health and nutrition, and women's empowerment for conflict-affected communities in North Kivu.
By accessing our website at www.wokovuway.org (the "Site"), making a donation, volunteering, or otherwise interacting with our organization, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Site or services.
3.1 Voluntary Contributions. All donations to Wokovuway are voluntary and non-refundable. We are grateful for every contribution, which directly supports our programs in Goma and North Kivu.
3.2 Payment Processing. Donations are processed through Stripe, a secure third-party payment processor. By making a donation, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy. Wokovuway does not store your payment card information.
3.3 Tax Deductibility. Wokovuway is registered as a nonprofit organization in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Tax deductibility of donations depends on your country of residence. Please consult your local tax advisor.
3.4 Recurring Donations. If you set up a recurring donation, you authorize us to charge your designated payment method at the frequency specified until you cancel. You may cancel recurring donations at any time by contacting us at infowokovuway@gmail.com.
4.1 Application. Submitting a volunteer application does not guarantee placement. We reserve the right to accept or decline applications based on program needs and applicant qualifications.
4.2 Code of Conduct. Volunteers must adhere to our code of conduct, which prioritizes the safety and dignity of the communities we serve. We reserve the right to terminate volunteer involvement for any violation of these standards.
4.3 Risk Acknowledgment. Volunteers serving in Goma acknowledge the inherent risks associated with working in a conflict-affected region. Wokovuway provides safety training and support but cannot guarantee absolute safety.
5.1 Intellectual Property. All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Wokovuway and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
